Alan Johnston Back from Vacation

Gaza Strip – After being held for 114 days, BBC new’s correspondent, Alan Johnston, is surprisingly free and alive. In a joint effort between Hamas and the British government, Johnston’s head (and body attached) rolled out in the early morning hours to the house of former Prime Minister Ismail Haniya. Johnston had this to say:
It was like being buried alive. I felt removed from world. It was occasionally terrifying, being held by people who were dangerous and unpredictable.
OA had previously reported that Johnston was on vacation, which still seems to be the case because “buried alive” and “people who were dangerous and unpredictable” can also be interpreted as mud baths and good times, respectively.
Who: knew?
