Anne Frank’s Tree goes off life support

“Chestnut tree showing off its 70s leave-do.”
In recent news, Amsterdam’s city council gave approval to cut down the famous chestnut tree that Anne Frank referred to her diary during WWII. The tree which is 150 years has been attacked by Fungus, for which there is no cure once it has reached the central trunk system. The tree will be taken off life support, Earth, in the next few weeks. If you listen carefully to the leaves of the tree, it was quoted in saying:
I’ve lived a long and healthy life. Of course I didn’t think I would be going by the way of the ax, but I guess we (trees) don’t choose such things.
Very Poetic. Most people will recall the scathing criticism the Tree faced in the 70s when rumors were spread that the tree had ratted out Anne Frank. It was later cleared on account of trees don’t talk.
