Assassination Attempt on Russian Exile!

“Tell that Putin, if he wants a war, I’ll give him a war! Right Britain?!”
“…”

Boris Berezovsky is lucky to be alive today. When we first reported on Berezovsky, it was only a matter of time before there would be an attempt on his life. After a failed assassination attempt, Berezovsky will be thinking twice before speaking out against the Russian government. He did have this to say to the BBC:

It was that someone who I know will come to London to meet me, he will kill me openly, without any hiding, and he will explain later that it’s just business reasons.

Of course the Russian government claims no responsibility. Russia’s ambassador to London Yuri Fedotov had this to say:

I have nothing that could confirm it but on the other side it does not surprise me because Mr Berezovsky takes each and every opportunity – and if there is no opportunity, takes invented opportunity – to expose himself, to make a public figure.

Which when translated out of the Russian subtext means, “if you talk shit about Putin again, you’re gonna get it, hard.” These recent events have put a strain on relations between Russia and Britain. With each country demanding the expulsion of certain characters, actions have yet to take place. But it seems Berezovsky has decided to put another nail in his coffin by saying:

All of these threats bear the hallmarks of Russian security service activity and of course President Putin changed the law last year to empower agents to commit murder overseas, following an assassination by Russian agents in Qatar.

Since we all know Putin reads this website on a daily basis, this can only lead to trouble.

Double or: nothing?
