Lesbians off the Bus!

“Now if these teens grow up lookin’ like these fine specimens, they can do whatever the hell they want on my bus.”
Portland, Oregan - Two fourteen year old lesbians were thrown off a bus yesterday for kissing after a complaint was made to the bus driver. The 64 year old bus driver will be facing disciplinary actions according to the TriMet Bus Company manager. As said by TriMet General Manager Fred Hansen:
Removing the girls from the bus was not consistent with our policy. I want to reiterate that we welcome all riders on our system.
What about a suspicious brown guy with a large book bag? Books my ass.
The mother of one of the girls, Ronnda Zezula, was happy to receive an apology. Of course the idea of a lawsuit was also thrown into consideration. Shortly afterwards, a gay rights jumped in and chimed in with their two cents. The spokeswoman for Basic Rights (gay rights group), Melissa Chernaik, had this to say:
The fact that they were possibly singled out because they were two girls is obviously problematic. But the big issue is that teenagers were put at risk and they should not be. Keeping kids safe is really the problem, and it sounds like TriMet is dealing with that, as they should be.
Hopefully this just goes away. The women who filed the complaint may have said this:
I have nothing against lesbians, just ugly people kissing.
Case solved. We don’t have to call Perry Mason on this one.
I want to say “taste the rainbow” without feeling: weird.
