NYC Yellow cabs go Green in 2012

You’ll still be able to find your favorite middle eastern man driving the big yellow, but at least he will be helping the environment. By 2012, NYC plans to replace all yellow cabs with hybrid yellow cabs. Running on electricity and petrol, the cabs will emit less carbon gases. What do you gotta say about that Mayor Bloomie:
The benefits are going to be felt by generations of New Yorkers. Going hybrid will shrink the city’s carbon footprint.
So when cab drivers are speeding even more menacingly than before, step back onto the curb. Because Achmed is saving the environment.

Just think, I’ll be so excited to be breathing clean air. So excited when cab prices shoot sky high because cab companies are forced to comply with onerous, intrusive nanny state shit that will do very little to stave off environmental armaggedon(if it’s coming as soon as we’re told), and so excited when my cabs shitty hybrid nature doesn’t allow it to rocket from 0-60 in bumper to bumper on 34th Street(somehow cab drivers can do this) because it’s a glorified golf cart.
I don’t know. I didn’t think those cabs could go so fast to begin with. Just give those cabbies a few days and they’ll figure out how to boost up those green machines. As for getting raped fare wise, I already see how this ends. As opposed to me holding my middle finger out the window, this price hijack results in me showing my middle finger into the window. *End Scene* I hope you got bail money Sal…
